A restaurant located in mandela square which offers wide variety of steaks and wines. Place was always hectic as tourists,airline crew and other locals used to dine here. I ordered wagyu striploin that’s full of flavor,along with it were the creamed spinach and sautéed mushrooms. For desert they offer us shot of amarula and also don pedro.I would like to commend Khethiwe for her excellent service. Such a wonderful time here.

Great steak house. It does get very busy in the evenings. Booking is essential. We were very pleased with their reception, able to book 20 of us at short notice, and there service was impeccable. The prawn tempura was absolutely delicious. Of course the range of steaks were delivered to perfection. I don't know how they got it right being so busy, and delivered everyone on the table almost at the same time. The grill came with a mash, the spinach was our favourite. The sauce (you pay separately) was good, bit judging the huge amount of food, not needed. They gave us a complimentary dessert with a Bailey's or liquor at the end, not sure if because of the large group, but well appreciated. We had a great evening. Recommended

Absolutely the best steakhouse around! The meat quality is top-notch — always tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly to my preferred medium rare every single time. You can really taste the care and skill that go into each dish. It does tend to get a bit crowded and noisy, especially on weekends, but that’s just a sign of how popular it is. Whenever I’m in Sandton — even if it’s just once a year — this place is an absolute must and a highlight of my trip. Five stars all the way!

I had a wonderful dining experience at Trumps Grillhouse and Butchery. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. Craig, the manager, made me feel welcome and ensured everything was perfect. My waiter, Prosper, was attentive, friendly, and professional — he really made the evening special. I ordered a steak, and it was cooked to absolute perfection — tender, flavorful, and exactly how I like it. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place for a memorable meal. Highly recommended! I will definitely be coming back.

Upon arrival at 8pm on a Saturday evening without a prior booking, we were efficiently accommodated, despite the restaurant's busy atmosphere. The ambiance was inviting and set the tone for a memorable evening. The culinary highlight was the Lamb rump with chops, expertly prepared to perfection. The dish was a masterful blend of flavors, with the lamb's tenderness and juiciness complemented perfectly by the accompanying mash and rich mushroom sauce. Our waiter, Daniel, provided outstanding service, demonstrating attentiveness, warmth, and in-depth knowledge of the menu. His professionalism and dedication to ensuring our satisfaction were evident, even during peak hours. In conclusion, Trumps Grillhouse exceeded our expectations, offering exceptional cuisine, top-notch service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
