Food was good and tasty. Ribs were very good but the service was extremely bad 👎. We waited 45 minutes for our main course and ordered our starters,main, drinks 🍸 from different waiters each time we had to get somebody attention. Our visit was over 4 hours. The waiter expected a big tip and said why don't give a bigger tip. If there is service I would. It's the worse service that we have ever had at this restaurant. Three stars 🌟 because of the food only

Our first visit and a great restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly and cozy. The food is delicous and filling. Great specials and the staff are amazing. We really enjoyed our visit. Will definately be back again.

Absolutely lovely atmosphere. The staff are attentive and friendly. Had the most amazing beef ribs. Their steak and other meals also looked delicious, but was very happy with my ribs.

Can see why they have been there forever. Even tho the place was packed, we had amazing service from all staff and management. Food was quick and steaks were done beautifully med rare.

From what we've heard, it's been rated/hailed as the best ribs in JHB. Were the ribs good? Yes. Were they the best I've had? Personally, no. I had the beef ribs. I really liked the fact that the basting wasn't that annoyingly sweet marinade used on almost all ribs. It was very smokey, however, the ribs were okay. Perhaps, these ratings/praise come from the pork ribs which I've yet to try. My man had the 500g t bone, the meat was absolutely juicy and tender. We weren't a fan of the sauces. We ordered mushroom sauce and Portuguese sauce. The service was extremely efficient and friendly so that's a plus. The restaurant itself has a big family feel. The decor literally looks like it hasn't changed since it opened, which makes it very homey. If you're going to try them out, I think you should opt for the pork ribs. I definitely want to give that a try and see if it lives up to the hype.
