Such a cute romantic dinner spot! Higher end food presented beautifully and great portions, definitely a spot for either special occasions or your regular Thursday night. Servers are super knowledgeable about celiac and validate ingredients with the chef when unsure but their menu does list allergens. It was very easy to find something to eat, what was hard was choosing between the options. Everything was delicious and the wine pairing perfections. We would come again! Lovely quaint intimate place tucked away in the back streets of Funchal away from the crowds. Starters were lovely with cocktails, very well presented and tasted great. Mains of octopus & sweet potato with a modern twist was exceptional. Hats off to the chef! Paired with a bottle of white and desserts including tiramisu and cheesecake topped off a taste sensation! The value for money at this restaurant really really blew us away! Lovely quaint intimate place tucked away in the back streets of Funchal away from the crowds. Starters were lovely with cocktails, very well presented and tasted great. Mains of octopus & sweet potato with a modern twist was exceptional. Hats off to the chef! Paired with a bottle of white and desserts including tiramisu and cheesecake topped off a taste sensation! The value for money at this restaurant really really blew us away! Well done and highly recommend on a visit to Funchal

The daily menu was a great deal and very affordable — we paid €11.90 for a main dish, coffee or tea, and dessert. The main courses were delicious, made with quality ingredients and full of flavor. The dessert that day wasn’t my favorite, but everything else was excellent. Service was also very friendly and attentive.

The food was fresh and delicious – especially the octopus dish, which was a standout. The service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was great. Although the extra charge for bread felt a bit pricey, the overall value for money was excellent. Would definitely come back! 😋

Lovely high quality ingredients made for an outstanding dinner for 2. Personable service, well considered menu (both seafood and meat), enjoyable wine, just a lovely way to conclude our tour of Madeira. Make a reservation. We couldn’t dine due to availability on the first try but reserving for the next night was simple.
