The service was really nice, great passion fruit sangria and very good garlic bread. However i don’t agree with “best food in Funchal”. The food is very average, fried fish with banana and fries-nothing extraordinary. Tuna was pretty dry. Not great, not terrible. Would not come back though. Absolutely amazing if you want to enjoy the autentic food from Madeira ! The view is stunning for a dinner!Passion fruit sangria (homemade receipt )is just amazing ! The swordfish with banana is a must try!Fresh shrimps ,very tasty and juicy! I love the idea that the owner live in the restaurant ! We chose this restaurant for our last dinner in Madeira and was a great option ! Big portions!Here you can enjoy the autentic food from the island ! The best restaurant we’ve been here to. Absolutely amazing if you want to enjoy the autentic food from Madeira ! The view is stunning for a dinner!Passion fruit sangria (homemade receipt )is just amazing ! The host was so welcoming. The food and the drinks tasted amazing. Especially the sangria without alcohol tastes great. Must order and a must visit if you are in Madeira.

Had lunch here in this lovely family run restaurant. Had the garlic bread to start- fresh bread and buttery heaven. At the owners suggestion I tried the fried fish and banana dish which was actually very lovely together. My partner enjoyed the cod with chickpeas. Yum! Service was fantastic as well. View was amazing on the balcony.
