It was a fantastic dinner — the best one on this island! Exceptionally delicious and high-quality food. Everything was grilled to perfection, without any excess oil. A special thank-you for including a fresh salad and offering a choice of side dishes like baked potatoes or rice — since most places only serve French fries, which not everyone eats. So, I could choose one dish that was healthy, well-balanced, delicious, and very filling. My sincere thanks also go to the staff for their kind and friendly service. A truly wonderful restaurant! Arrived hungry and left satisfied. Espada with banana and passionfruit sauce was wonderfully cooked. The fish was soft, but not slimy and still had texture. The based potato arrived with both butter and mayo. Note that this dish is sweet! It's arguably more of a dessert than a meal, but the lemon helps to lower the sweetness. Cons: The chairs are hard sit on and the water is 3 euro (don't order water). Hidden gem. Amazing food, came back couple of times. Stakes are simply the best I had in Madeira. Very friendly staff, nice life atmosphere. Better to book the table.

It was a fantastic dinner — the best one on this island! Exceptionally delicious and high-quality food. Everything was grilled to perfection, without any excess oil. Hidden gem. Amazing food, came back couple of times. Stakes are simply the best I had in Madeira. Very friendly staff, nice life atmosphere. Better to book the table.
