Gazebo is truly a hidden gem in Madeira. The tasting menu is exceptional. Every dish is beautifully crafted and full of flavor. You can really feel that it’s a family-owned restaurant where people put their heart and soul into what they do. It’s also vegetarian-friendly, and they are happy to cater to all dietary needs. 12 out of 10 experience! 💛 We ate here back in August 2024, before it became a Michelin-starred restaurant, and we knew instantly it deserved one. The vibes were incredible, the staff immaculate, and the food absolutely to die for. What an amazing experience. We hope we get the opportunity to return someday. Congratulations on the star! A truly delightful dining experience The food was absolutely delicious – a true feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and with a lovely sense of humor that added to the relaxed atmosphere. It was a wonderful touch that Chef Philipe personally visited each table and served one of the courses himself – it made the experience feel even more special. As someone with a gluten intolerance, I really appreciated the care and attention that was given to my dietary needs. Everything was handled perfectly and with great understanding. The wines were also very tasteful and well-paired with the dishes. The restaurant itself feels cozy and family-like, which makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Overall, a beautiful, warm, and outstanding experience. Highly recommended!

We ate here back in August 2024, before it became a Michelin-starred restaurant, and we knew instantly it deserved one. Wow! Gazebo Experience is a must-go if you're in Madeira—a Michelin-starred restaurant in the heart of Funchal. Parking was easy. There are two menus to choose from, and they may change the menu depending on the season. Filipe, the chef, is right there, along with the two wonderful servers serving throughout the night. I enjoyed every second of it. Each dish they served was like a bite out of heaven. Thank you Gazebo Experience!!!

The chef and his team did a fantastic job! At first, the portions seem small and you won't be full, but the balance, combination, sequence, and harmony of flavors leave a lasting impression.
