We over ordered! But everything was sooo good we couldn’t decide which dish could’ve been skipped. I tried the braised tuna steak and it was heavenly. The cheese platter, bread platter everything was so yum! The wine they helped me select to go along with my dish just fit right, I even had an opportunity to taste between two options. 100% recommend! I will definitely come back when I visit Madeira again.

I saw the menu for this restaurant just outside our hotel our first day and thought it looked great. After one of our longer tour days, we decided it'd be a good choice since it was so close to where we're staying. It's located on Floor 1 (which is what we would typically consider the second floor) of a shopping center. We almost changed our minds because there is no outdoor seating, but I'm glad we stuck with the plan because everything was wonderful! Service was friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our drinks (a cider and kombucha), and the food was delicious too. We ordered breads and butters plus a meat and cheese plate to start, then the braised tuna plus octopus rice for our entrees. The tuna was definitely our fave--cooked perfectly with a flavorful crust. We also enjoyed the sides that accompanied our meal. We were too full to try dessert but there were some lovely looking cakes in the case! Would definitely recommend a stop here--don't let the location within the shopping center deter you. It was still comfortable and a nice cozy atmosphere.

Good food but could be better. For example we ordered medium rare tuna, yet as the pan was hot upon arrival, by the time we started to eating it, it was more like well done than medium rare. Service was almost excellent, they were attentive, friendly and polite. However we had a pushy waiters who tried too hard to upsell which wasn't great. Overall certainly worth a visit.

Fantastic food! A little difficult to find inside the mall, but a fantastic place for food! Prices are super reasonable, especially for the area it is in. Food was delicious, everything on the menu sounded good and everything we saw looked delicious. Can’t say enough good, Anabel and the other staff were very friendly, accommodating and liked to have a laugh. Would definitely recommend for anyone!

I had a really pleasant experience at this restaurant. The food is delicious, fresh, and well-prepared, with great attention to detail in every dish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive – always ready to offer recommendations and make sure everything is just right. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to and one I highly recommend to anyone looking for tasty food and excellent service.
